Just three days before his murder, Chinx stopped by DJ Kay Slay’s Streetsweeper Radio with fellow Coke Boy and French Montana’s brother, Zack. Briefly discussing projects the two had in the works, the interview served as Chinx’s final interview before being tragically gunned down in Queens on May 17.

While reports of three arrests were proven false by the NYPD, police did confirm that they would be investigating any possible connection between Chinx’s murder and that of Stack Bundles in 2007. Max B, Chinx’s friend and mentor, also broke his silence from prison regarding the unfortunate ordeal, calling Chinx’s death a “senseless tragedy.”
Funeral arrangements for Chinx have been set for May 26 at The Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral in Jamaica, Queens. Fans have been invited to celebrate the life of the rapper, as the details were shared on Instagram. Watch his final radio appearance in the video above.
