Jalen Beeks is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball (MLB). Jalen Christopher Beeks was born on July 10, 1993, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, United States. He was initially enrolled at Crowder College, however, he transferred to the University of Arkansas, where he played college baseball for the Arkansas Razorbacks. The Boston Red Sox selected Jalen Beeks in the 12th round of the 2014 MLB draft.
