Born in 1980, Michelle Williams made it big when she scored a regular role on the WB’s hit teen drama Dawson’s Creek in 1998 until the show ended in 2003.
In addition to her television career, she has starred in many off-beat roles throughout the years, including her role in 1999’s film Dick with Kirsten Dunst, along with 2001’s Prozac Nation.
Her most critically acclaimed role was in 2005’s Brokeback Mountain, for which she received an Oscar nod for Best Supporting Actress.
On the set of the film, she met Heath Ledger and the two later had a baby girl, Matilda Rose. The couple broke up in September 2007, just months before Ledger’s tragic death in January 2008.
The Manchester by the Sea actress dated a few men, including Jason Segel, before marrying Phil Elverum in July 2018. The duo split in April 2019, and Williams sparked a romantic relationship with Fosse/Verdon director Thomas Kail shortly thereafter.
Us confirmed in March 2020 that the twosome tied the knot in 2020 before welcoming their son, Hart, in June of that year. Williams announced in May 2022 that she is expecting her third child, her second with Kail.
